Buoy 39 Marina was established in 1956 by Charlie Leazer and 52 years later it remains family owned and operated by his son John.
The marina is located at the southern end of Lake Champlain in Orwell, VT, nestled in the shadow of historic Mt. Independence and opposite Fort Ticonderoga.
Marker Buoy 39 was renumbered in the mid 1990’s to marker Buoy 73; however we kept our original name.
We are a small quiet family oriented marina. Pet friendly. We offer seasonal dockage, electric, water and transient dockage when available.
Dockage footage is based on registration, not OAL. We also offer a wide variety of marine repairs. Gas dock with pumpout service. Onshore bathroom, shower and laundry facility. Winter storage available up to 36 feet, sailboat depends on draft.ft.
